Johnny Greaves

Johnny launched his real estate career in 1987 after completing his engineering studies. One of the youngest agents to be marketing property in the Eastern and inner city suburbs at the time, he worked alongside John McGrath for 14 years and held the coveted position of ‘Number One Sales Person’ several times with McGrath Real Estate. Testament to his expertise is that he was retained by many prominent real estate agents to sell their own private residences.


Accolades such as this and the demand for him as a sales and negotiation trainer set him apart from the pack early in his career. Johnny then sought international experience in the United Kingdom, Europe and New Zealand, where he was successful and sought after in both real estate and motorsport. Upon his return to Australia he joined Di Jones Real Estate Woollahra, continuing to sell some of the finest and most sought-after property that Sydney had to offer. After his years in selling, Johnny decided to take a different approach to real estate and work exclusively with the people who purchase property.


Johnny has been involved in thousands of auctions and private treaty negotiations over the years, with a mixed demographic of buyers and sellers, from the low profile first home buyer to high profile leaders of business, government and entertainment. No matter what your profile or purchasing power is, Johnny ensures clients receive total devotion to the task. Specialising in Sydney’s East, Inner West and North Shore blue chip inner city suburbs has proven beneficial for his clients whether they be seeking a Northern Beach house, Elizabeth Bay apartment or a Paddington/Kirribilli terrace. His comprehensive networks, historical knowledge and understanding of current market trends give his clients a significant buying advantage in any residential purchase.


Johnny also has an uncanny talent and ability to tune in to different suburbs, markets, pricing and negotiations. When a selling specialist he concluded sales in areas that were as diverse as his interests and client base are today. He has negotiated record sale prices for properties such as a multi-million dollar warehouse in Surry Hills, Mosman and Neutral Bay house’s and a cliff top residence on Kiama’s South Coast. This past selling excellence is now turned 180 degrees and used to his buying clients advantage.


Johnny believes that actions and results speak best for him, as he knows that it is easy to be promised the world – and be given an atlas!
